President
Jason Simon is the President and founder of SimonDR. He has a B.A. in American Cultural History from Salisbury University. He currently holds the position of President of H.R. Simon and Company, a radiology chemical manufacturer.
Additionally, he sits on the board of directors for Vision Imaging Partners, a radiology supply and service buying consortium.
Jason has a 30 year background in photography and computer science. He has been programming since 1981 and has been building computers since 1987. At Salisbury University in 1989, the only computer network on campus was in Jason’s dormroom. His computer at home is an example of his aggressively pushing technology: it is liquid cooled, sports LED-lighting, dual 24’monitors, and seven variable speed exhaust fans. He likes to think that he appears a not a geek, but secretly is proud of being one.
In his spare time, Jason likes to spend time bike riding with his family, racing his street-prepared Infiniti, playing golf, mowing the lawn, photography, and football. “Mowing the lawn is where I do all of my thinking, however if they ever figure out how to add internet access to my x-mark, I’ll give up mowing. Playing golf and driving the race car help me hyper-focus, and bike riding with my family is just pure joy.” On photography, Jason professionally shoots weddings, portraits, and aspiring rock bands several times per year and never for a fee: he feels that charging ruins his art. Jason is currently in his fifth year of coaching with the Bel Air Terps, the largest single youth football program in the country.
